HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FOOT: To accurately measure your foot for shoe sizes, follow these steps.
1. GATHER YOUR MATERIALS:
- A piece of paper
- pencil or pen
- A ruler or measuring tape
- A flat wall (for measuring length)
2. PREPARE FOR MEASUREMENT:
- Remove your shoes and socks.
- Wear the type of socks you plan to use with the shoes
3. MEASURE FOOT LENGTH:
- Place a piece of paper on the floor against a wall.
- Stand with your heel against the wall and your toes pointing forward. Ensure your weight is evenly distributed on both feet.
- Mark the longest point of your foot (usually the tip of your big toe or second toe) on the paper.
- Measure the distance from the wall to the mark using a ruler or measuring tape. This measurement is your foot length.
TIPS FOR ACCURATE MEASUREMENT:
- Measure at the end of the day when your feet are likely to be swollen and at their largest.
- If possible, have someone assist you for more accurate results, especially when measuring width.
